London Underground | Emotional Baggage, introduces the Crafted Fashion collection from Williams-British Handmade.
Sarah Williams, a student graduating from the M.A. Fashion Artefacts program at the London College of Fashion, conceived the line that features a whimsical and luxurious take on luggage and functional work gear. The collection offers a modern take on classic British style.
Williams believes that good-quality craft depends on curiosity about the material at hand, and she cites three attributes, identified by Richard Sennett in his book “The Craftsman,” in her work: Metamorphosis, Anthropomorphism and Presence.
